National Motoring Heritage Day

We started our Celebration Drive at 9:00 am on Sunday. One Rapier, two Tigers and four Alpine. Plus, a Hillman and Hyundai for good measure. A total of 19 club members in all.
The threat of rain caused all but one member to choose the roof-up option.
We winded our way along the scenic roads of the Dandenongs. Arriving at our first stop in Olinda for morning tea, the weather had set in with a thick Scottish Fog. So a hot cup of tea/coffee was appreciated by all.
Despite the weather, everyone remained in great spirits. We all enjoyed the camaraderie and scenic road as we made our way via Olinda, Emerald, and Gembrook before reaching our final destination, the Launching Place Home Hotel.
A warm open fire, great food and even better company made the day one to remember.
